I could say something like.."Grab life by the horns" but then I would sound like a commercial. My husband Steve does drive a Dodge actually and before I moved here from Missouri I had a Dodge truck as well. With the high price of gas out here in Arizona I traded it a while back for a rice burner.
So where to begin? It seems usually one person form the couple usually does all the talking here.. for me this is true. I am Chuck..the one in the chiefs ball cap in most of the pictures. Steve does come here from time to time to see what I am doing, but he lets me blog and get this chatting out of my system. I use to work as a systems engineer/computer tech for a university back in Missouri. I have worked in the tech field for years since I got my college degree. I was married for 11 years and I have a son and a step daughter. She is in college back in Missouri and he is here in AZ with his mom going to school. I moved here to be closer to him while he was growing up. Steve is from the SeaTac area in Washington and he is also in a tech related field but he works from home every day and sometimes has to travel. We both have been online in the past and our paths crossed years ago, but nothing came of it..the timing wasn't right. Then on Christmas day of 06 we met again and this time it was magic.. We married in June of 07 at Steve's ranch in WA and he relocated here so we could start our family. Things here in the mountains of AZ are going well and we get my son a lot of the time..which, he would rather be with us than with his mom. When he is headed off to college we will move up to the eastern side of WA and build us a spread where we will grow old and just sit on the front porch and rock.
We are pretty much "sticks in the mud" but we enjoy doing things outside and we would love to head off to a rodeo in the area. We just got back from southeast asia where we had the time of our lives. Give us a holler and say hey! We got a couple of groups we look after here on the site. please join and post something if you choose. Take care.. Chuck and Steve
Hey guys, same back at you. Glad to be your friends and for being able to kick some thoughts together. You definitely get it and keep it real. Best...Mark & Dave
